கருவிலே உருவானை என்னை

காலிலும்,தோளிலும்  சுமந்தான் ஒருவன் 

குழந்தை வடிவான என்னை

கண்ணே மணினே என்று கொண்டாடினான் அவன் 

குதித்து விளையாடி என்னுடன் 

கும்மாளம் அடித்தவான்  ஒருவன் 

கண்காணா தூரத்திலும் எனக்கு 

கைகொடுக்கும் தோழன் அவன்  

கடற்கரையில்  நடந்து என்னுடன் 

கால்தடம்  பதிதான்  ஒருவன் 

கண்களில் ஒளியாக என்னை 

காலம் முழுவதும் காப்பேன் என்றான் அவன் 

கடவுள் கொடுத்த  உறவு ஒன்று, கேட்காமல் கிடைத்த நட்பு  ஒன்று ,

காதலால் வளர்ந்த உறவு ஒன்று , பாசத்தில் நிறைந்த கேட்பது ஒன்று, 

கரையிலே காரியும்வரை 

கருத்தினிலே கலயாதிருபாய் என்று

I was carried in a womb, but

HE carried me on his legs and shoulder

When I was a baby

HE adored me and pampered me

HE Jumped and played with me 

built a lot of fun memories with me

Even when miles away

HE who care for me, my friend

HE walked with me on the sea shore

and marked his foot steps with me

HE who promised to be with me

and take care of me all his life

One is a bond that was granted by god, one is a friendship that i was handed.

One is a relationship that is nurtured by love, with all my heart this is what I
